Orders, articles, warehouse work, assets — every list in DynBrowser is the same grid. The same search box, the same filter menu in every column header, the same keyboard shortcuts, the same column layout that remembers itself. Nobody has to learn a second way of finding a row.
A dashboard is only as good as the moment you need one specific row out of forty thousand. That moment is this component's whole job — and it works identically on the orders dashboard, the article catalog, warehouse work and the asset register.
One box above every grid narrows the list while you type, across the fields that actually identify a row — order number, article, name, reference. Debounced so it never fights your typing, and cleared with one click.
Click a header and you get that column's own panel: sort, an operator, a value box, the filters already active on it, and — for amounts — a total. No dialog to hunt for, no filter pane to open first.
Equals, contains, starts with, ends with, greater, smaller, between and their negations. A text column offers text operators, a number column offers comparisons — you are never shown an operator that cannot answer.
Every active filter becomes a chip above the grid, and the join between two chips flips between AND and OR with a click. Complex questions get built one obvious step at a time, and every step is visible.
Right-click any cell to filter on exactly that value, refine it with another operator, or copy the cell, the row or the whole column to the clipboard — straight into Excel or an e-mail.
One-click presets for today, this week, next week, last week and this month — or type TODAY+3D, TODAY-5WD and THISWEEK+1W. Working days are counted as working days.
Twelve Alt-key shortcuts put every operator one keystroke from the cell you just clicked, arrow keys walk the rows, Enter opens the record — and Alt+R peels the last filter back off when you overshoot.
Sort and filter are translated into a live OData query, so they run in Dynamics 365 over the entire set — not over the few hundred rows that happen to be loaded. The right rows come back first.
Drag a column to a new position, drag its edge to a new width, hide what you never read, and use the searchable column picker to bring anything back. One click restores the default.
Set any numeric column to total, average, minimum or maximum and the answer appears in the status bar — recomputed against what your filters actually left on screen.
A dense list for scanning, wide tiles for a screen on the wall, or a tile grid for a touch monitor. The switch is in the toolbar, and it keeps your filters and sorting.
Where a page supports it, the grid turns into checkbox mode with a select-all and a running count — the way you send twelve labels to the printer in one action instead of twelve.
The same eleven operators are available on every filterable column, offered per data type so the list stays short and always applicable. Leave the value empty and the filter flips to "is empty" — the fastest way to find the rows somebody forgot to fill in. Wildcards work too: *conveyor* means what you expect it to.
What can be expressed as an OData query is sent to Dynamics 365. What cannot — a substring match on a number, say — is applied to the rows that come back instead, so the filter still works rather than telling you it is unsupported.

Sorting, filtering, the filters already active on this column, a calculation for amounts and "hide this column" — in one panel, on the column you were already looking at. On a date column it opens with quick presets; on a status column it offers the values that exist instead of a blank box.
Click a cell, then press one key combination: the filter is built from the value under the cursor. This is the part planners and warehouse leads notice on day two and never give back.
Date columns accept relative expressions, so a saved view stays correct tomorrow. Ask for the orders due within five working days and you get five working days — weekends skipped, no calendar arithmetic in your head, nothing to re-enter on Monday.
