One DynBrowser runs per Windows session. Starting it again brings the window that is already open to the front.
Installing WebView2 and .NET
- WebView2 Runtime: download it from Microsoft at go.microsoft.com/fwlink/p/?LinkId=2124703. The setup wizard offers to install it when it is missing. The MSI does not install it and stops with a message when it is missing; deploy it first (with Intune, as a dependency).
- .NET 10 Desktop Runtime: download it from dotnet.microsoft.com/download/dotnet/10.0. The setup wizard checks for it and points to that page, but does not install .NET itself.
Dynamics 365
- A Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (Supply Chain Management) environment.
- An app registration in Microsoft Entra ID, so DynBrowser can sign in on the user's behalf. See Signing in to D365.
- Users read D365 with their own rights. What someone may not see in D365, DynBrowser does not show either.
Licence
Your D365 environment must be registered with DynSolutionZ for your subscription. See Licences and users.
Network
DynBrowser communicates over HTTPS (port 443); only your own Vault server can also use HTTP. Which addresses must be reachable is listed under Network and firewall.
