Warehouse Work

The Warehouse Work page shows the warehouse work from D365: picking, putting away, replenishment, counting and more. You see each work order's status, priority and source order, and open a work order to see its work lines.

The page only reads. You can't start, assign or cancel work here; do that in D365 or on the scanner.

The list shows the work of all companies together.

Finding work

  1. Type a work ID, source order number, shipment, load, warehouse or target license plate in Search. Separate several search terms with ;.
  2. Choose a Status. The default is Active: Open, In process and Pending review.
  3. Optionally choose an Order type, such as Sales, Purch, Prod pick or Replenishment.
  4. Choose a Period. The default is This year; the page remembers your choice.

Period looks at the moment processing of the work began. Work nobody has picked up yet doesn't have that date, so it is shown in every period.

Save preset stores the status, order type, search term and column filters under a name (not the period). Click a chip to apply a preset. With Pin to start page on a chip you put a preset on the start page.

The list

The list loads 100 work orders at a time and fetches more as you scroll. By default the work with the highest priority (the lowest number) is at the top.

Column Meaning
Priority Red up to and including 10, orange up to and including 50, otherwise green
Status Open (green), In process (blue), Pending review (orange), Closed (grey), Cancelled (red), Skipped (purple), Combined (teal)
Source order The order the work belongs to, such as a sales or production order
Blocked ⚠ if the work is blocked in D365
Started When processing began
Lines The number of work lines. Appears only once you have opened the work order.

With Manage columns you add, among others, site, wave, work pool, load, shipment, container, the actual and estimated time, and who completed or locked the work.

Refresh (or F5) fetches the data again. The page doesn't refresh by itself.

Looking at a work order

Click a work order. The detail panel opens with two tabs:

  • General: all details of the work order, such as status, order type, source order, warehouse, priority, load, shipment and times;
  • Work lines: the lines of the work (up to 200). Per line the type (Pick, Put, counting), the status, the item with configuration, license plate and batch, the quantity, and the location: orange is where to pick, green where to put away. Click a line for all its fields.

Show in list (Alt+L) jumps back to the work order in the list. With the Detail panel button in the header you decide whether a click opens the panel automatically.
